We’re calling all young activists, entrepreneurs, designers and artists to take part in a one-week making summer school to explore the future of urban waterscapes in Kortrijk.
During the second week of September, 25 selected participants will ideate and prototype 5 interventions that will reflect on a sub-theme, each one held in collaboration with a social impact enterprise.

of September 2021

The summer school will
be hosted by Bolwerk,
in collaboration with Hangar K
and the network of
Kortrijk’s universities.
Through this hands-on educational experience, you will have the chance to explore different projectual methodologies, crafts and processes by working in a team with mixed expertise and thanks to the coaching sessions and keynotes of a team of experts.

We are looking for anyone under the age of 30 who would like to tackle social and environmental challenges with a team of like-minded people in a creative environment.
Throughout the week we’ll carry territorial research, ideate on possible interventions, prototype and test them, lastly, we’ll investigate their economical sustainability to make a long-lasting impact
